Welcome New Members
There will be a welcome luncheon on Sunday, September 26, 2010 immediately following the 11am Worship Service. At this time we will formally welcome all of our New Members who joined March, 2010 - September, 2010.

Youth/Young Adult, Ages 14-22, Sunday, September 5th at 11am

Stewardship Devotional and Journal
We hope that everyone received their 21 Day's to a Prayerful Decision & Journal today. Please take time for the next 21 days to read your devotional and write in your journal your thoughts for the day as we as a congregation move closer to God. If you did not receive your copy they are some available in the church office.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH MINISTRY (ages 2-12)
Children’s Church is held every Sunday during the 8 am & 11 am worship services. We are continuing our curriculum “Route 66” which takes our youth on a journey through the 66 of the Bible.
Our classes are growing so fast that we are in great need of more volunteer teachers. If you are willing to help just one Sunday for one service each month it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, we are constantly in need of supplies and snacks. If you would like to make a donation on a regular basis, please just mark you offering envelopes under the (special offering) to children’s church and we can purchase the items on an as needed basis.

Boy Scouts
Cub Scout Pack #417 meets at Saint John on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month at 6:30 p.m. If you know of a boy between the ages of 6-11 who may be interested in scouting, or would like to learn more, please contact Sister Linda Young via e-mail, lmclean114@aol.com or by calling 205.991.7770.
Currently the scouts are planning for a Spring Break Trip, contact us for more information
Credit Union
St. John's Federal Credit Union is available for all members. If you have not joined please contact Brother Newstell Dowdell or any credit union officers. They can be reached at (205) 324-3441.
Praise Team
If you are interested in joining St. John`s Praise Team please sign-up in the church office or contact Mr. Curtis Johnson.
Praise Dancers
Young Ladies between the ages of 6-19 interested in participating please contact Tierney Beasley and Tonya Bradley.
From the church office

Meals on Wheels Ministry
The Meals on Wheels Ministry will deliver meals each Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 am. Volunteers and drivers are needed. Please contact the church office if you are available and interested.
Transportation
The church van is available to pick up those in need of a ride to the 11:00 am Worship Service. Please contact Mr. Zach Beasley. 643-0944.
